Soi is a small memory-based card game for classic Mac OS by John (Ioannis) Galidakis, presented from a top-down view in which players must recall the positions of face-down cards. Version 1.7 was uploaded to the Info-Mac archive as an update to the earlier 1.4 release documented on Macintosh Garden.
Author
Submitted by Ioannis Galidakis (jgal@ath.forthnet.gr) of Greece. The Info-Mac BinHex note simply asks maintainers to update the existing game/crd entry from 1.4 to 1.7, signed "Cheers -- Ioannis Galidakis."
Gameplay
Per the Macintosh Garden entry for the 1.4 release, Soi is "a card game which asks for good memory skills" - a concentration-style match game in which the player flips pairs of cards and must remember their positions to clear the board.
Requirements
Targets System 7.0-7.6 and Mac OS 9 on 68k Macs (per the Macintosh Garden 1.4 entry; file size approximately 287 KB). Confirmed to run under SheepShaver and Basilisk II emulation. Distributed as soi-17.hqx, a BinHex 4.0 archive.
