Alan's Euchre is a Macintosh implementation of the classic four-player trick-taking card game Euchre, written by Alan Ewalt and distributed for the Mac through the Info-Mac archive. The release ships in two flavors so that both 68k Macs and PowerPC Macs can run a native binary of the same game.
Author
The game was uploaded by its author, who identifies himself in the Info-Mac header as Alan, posting from an apple.com address. The application is plainly titled "Alan's Euchre."
Builds
Two archives are provided in the Info-Mac submission: "Alan's_Euchre_(PPC).sit.hqx" for PowerPC and "Alan's_Euchre_(68k).sit.hqx" for 68k Macintoshes, both StuffIt archives wrapped in BinHex 4.0.
Genre
It is a single-application card game for the Macintosh, with no additional features described in the submission header beyond being a Mac native Euchre game.
