Poly-Peg is S. T. Han's 1996 take on Peg Solitaire, distributed as part of the Poly-Series shareware bundle of enhanced puzzle-game clones. Players jump pegs over their neighbors to remove them, working a board down toward a single survivor under rules and shapes the user can configure.
Customizable Boards
The Poly-Series engine lets the player swap the standard square grid for hexagonal layouts or randomized arrangements, so the classic puzzle changes character without leaving the same core jump-and-capture rule.
Rule Tweaks
Difficulty is tuned through adjustable rules and piece types, including options that let level editors and unconventional starting configurations stretch a familiar puzzle into fresh territory.
Part of a Bigger Set
Poly-Peg ships alongside Polytris, Poly-RC, Polybrid, Poly-Kin, Poly-Tile, Poly-Dol, and PolyMine in the Poly-Series collection, sharing a consistent Mac-native interface across all nine puzzle reinterpretations.
