Cartoon 13 Gunshy is a cosmetic modification of the classic Mac shareware tile game GunShy, replacing the standard tile faces with Disney and Warner Bros. cartoon characters. It was contributed to Info-Mac in May 1994 by a user posting as "Mr. Nobody" (kwgst@vms.cis.pitt.edu).
About the mod
The submission is a modified version of GunShy 1.3, the original tile-matching game by Steve Maller. Only the tile artwork is changed; gameplay, rules, and engine remain those of the base game.
Theme
The author's note describes the new tiles as "various Disney and Warner Bros. Characters," putting it in the same family as other thematic GunShy reskins on Info-Mac (Simpsons, Depeche Mode, Smashing Pumpkins).
Requirements
Requires a working copy of GunShy to play, since the package supplies replacement tile resources rather than a standalone application.
