Mr. Cat's Quest 2.1-SE is the Swedish-language edition of Foxchange Shareware's top-down cave-crawling adventure, in which the player digs through underground levels to rescue Mr. Cat's wife from the villain Madison Cat. This Info-Mac upload is the localisation released by Dr. Feelgood, translated by Jens Kuhn.
Story and gameplay
From the submission note (in Swedish): the player must find Mr. Cat's wife, who has been kidnapped and is held deep underground by Madison Cat. Gameplay involves digging through earth, fighting enemies, and solving puzzles across 42 caves, with selectable game speeds and per-level passwords.
Registration features
The shareware release advertises that registered players gain access to all caves, start with 99 lives, and can jump directly to the final boss. Registration was sold for 80 SEK via Swedish postgirot.
