Brdiget is the 68k build of Bridget 2.2, a two-player abstract strategy game from Kreative Software (a division of Kreative Korporation), released in 2001 by Jonathyn Bet'nct. The misspelled filename ships alongside the PPC and fat ("x") variants on the Info-Mac mirror and is the same game under a typo'd archive name.
Gameplay
Bridget is a hot-seat two-player game: opponents take turns on a single Mac. Version 2.2's headline change is that illegal moves are now blocked at the input layer, so the rules are enforced by the program rather than by the players themselves.
Distribution
The Info-Mac archive carries three companion files: brdiget-22-68k.hqx (this typo'd 68k build), bridget-22-ppc.hqx (PowerPC native), and bridget-22-x.hqx (cross-architecture). All three are BinHex-encoded and require Stuffit Expander or BinHex 4.0 to unpack.
Publisher
Released under Kreative Software, the title is one of several small Mac games and utilities Jonathyn Bet'nct distributed through Info-Mac in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Notes
Detailed gameplay rules are included in the bundled Instructions file inside the archive; the BinHex header itself is brief and points users to the in-package documentation.
This file is part of the MacTrove archive. See the Thank You page for the upstream mirrors we rely on. It is BinHex encoded — use The Unarchiver to decode it.
