Property 1.0 is a Mac board-game simulation in the familiar buy-streets-and-build-houses mold, written in THINK C by Graham Loader and themed around the Reading area of England. It was distributed through Info-Mac as a small independent shareware title, with the author flagging it as a first release that may still harbor the occasional bug.
Gameplay
The game faithfully reproduces the standard property-trading board game format, with the spaces reskinned to landmarks and streets from Reading rather than the usual London or Atlantic City sets.
Requirements
Needs roughly an LCIII-class machine: a 68030 or better processor and a monitor capable of 256 colors at 640x480, so a 13-inch color display will do the job.
Licensing
Released as "Beerware" - registration is a can of export lager mailed to the author, or a five-pound cheque or cash equivalent, which also entitles the user to future versions.
