If you have Primatte Keyer (v4), Key Correct and/or Warp currently installed on your system for After Effects or Premiere Pro, it is recommended to first uninstall these versions before installing with the Keying Suite 11 installer. If you do not uninstall these versions you may receive a "multiple copies of plug-in" message, similar to the one displayed below, while your host application is loading. How to uninstall Red Giant products on Mac 1. Run the 'Red Giant Uninstaller' app, this is found in the root directory of your product download. 2. Next, select these products: Key Correct, Primatte Keyer, Warp. 3. Click Uninstall button. 4. Now, run the Keying Suite 11 installer.

Read Me Page 1 of 3 Printed: Thursday, August 4, 2022 1:49:26 PM Greetings, BBEdit Users! This version of BBEdit is the first public release of a program that has been over two years in the making. During that time, BBEdit has undergone continuous refinement and improvement. BBEdit offers the following as its strengths: • High quality. BBEdit has achieved a remarkable level of stability for freeware; it has received years of in-house and external testing. The user interface is the result of extensive user feedback and polishing. • File size limited only by available memory. BBEdit's default partition size is 512K of RAM. This can be set as low as 256K, to make BBEdit the ideal constantly-resident editor for small to moderate tasks, or turned up as high as necessary to edit many large files or perform large-scale search-and-replace operations. • No hard limit on number of files open. The number of files that BBEdit can have open at once is limited by available memory, and can be increased or decreased by adjusting BBEdit's partition size as appropriate. • Easy manipulation of multiple files at once. An "Open Several…" command makes it possible to open multiple files from different folders at once, and the Save and Print commands can operate on all open files at once. Multi-file searches can also be limited to the set of open files. • Strong multi-file search capabilities. Under System 7.0, BBEdit can use On Location™ 2.0 as a search engine for fast, large-scale searches. A "Batch Mode" provides a way to accumulate search results for easy viewing and browsing. BBEdit can also search by straight directory scan, examining open windows, or examining the search results. A "Find and Replace All Matches" feature provides capability for multiple-file search and replace. • Pattern ("grep") searching. Matching patterns can be constructed so that strings other than exact literal matches can be found and replaced; for example, converting Pascal comments to C comments, or locating all occurrences of strings which begin with a "P" and end with "er". • System 7 awareness. Besides supporting all of the basic System 7 functionality such as 32-bit mode, virtual memory, and the like, BBEdit also takes advantage of specific System 7 functionality wherever possible in order to either improve performance or to improve its appearance. This is done without sacrificing System 6 compatibility. BBEdit also includes help balloons for most of its menus and dialogs. • High performance. Try and enjoy. Why Believe Me? I'm not the only person who says nice things about BBEdit; the following quotes are …

Macintosh HD:«"New Apps:BBEdit HTML Tables 1.0.2:Read Me Page 1 of 5 Printed: Thursday, August 4, 2022 4:23:28 PM BBEdit HTML Tables version 1.0.2 Introduction Tables are one of the most useful parts of current HTML (Hypertext Markup Language). They make it possible for designers to create documents on the web which have a much more robust structure than was possible with HTML prior to their introduction. BBEdit HTML Tables was written to extend the capabilities of the BBEdit software, which is one of the best ways of coding pages if you know HTML. When I started using BBEdit to create my own pages, it quickly became apparent that existing table extensions fell somewhat short in their implementation of the available table specification. The intention with this software has been to produce something that while unfortunately not WYSWYG (essentially impossible in an extension to BBEdit) is as easy to use as possible, while also allowing the creation of complex tables. BBEdit HTML Tables implements tables as per the Netscape 1.1 specification. When I commenced coding, the HTML 3.0 specification had not been finalised and there are as yet no Macintosh browsers capable of displaying HTML 3.0 tables. Now that the HTML 3.0 specification has been agreed on and appears to be finalised, I will start work on a version of this software that implements the new (much more complex) specification. I expect the upgraded version 2.0 will be released coincident with the release of Netscape 3.0. If you register for version 1.0 and provide me with your email address, I will automatically send you version 2.0, which you will also be registered for at no furthur cost. BBEdit HTML Tables has been extensively tested on versions 3.1.1, 3.5 Lite, and 3.5.2 of BBEdit. It requires a version of BBEdit that supports extensions, which means version 3.0 or later. Shareware Fee And Contacting The Author BBEdit HTML Tables is shareware, please be honest enough to pay if you play. The fee is US$5 which I will happily accept in cash if you don't want to pay the exorbitant fees charged by banks for other currency instruments. I know the postal service hates this, but put it between two pieces of good white paper (giving your contact details, perhaps 8-) and I promise not to tell on you. Other currencys are acceptable but I would prefer the US$ as I travel occasionally over there. You can send cash payments to: Stephen Marshall c/o Information Technology Services Kelburn Parade PO Box 600 Wellington New Zealand For other than cash payments, you can use the Register program and pay through Kagi Shareware as detailed below. If you are paying for more than one user then these are the charges: 1- 10 single user licenses, US$5 per user 11+ single user licenses, US$3 per user A Site License costs $100 (equal to 20 users) and covers all locations for your organization within a 160 kilometer radius of your site (100 miles). Installation guide 1) Insert the disk in the CD-Rom drive. 2) Double click on the "Pixeline CD" icon. 3) Drag the folder "For fulde sejl" onto the hard disk and all the necessary files are copied onto the hard disk. Start the Game 1) Insert the disk into the CD-Rom drive. 2) Open the folder "For fulde sejl" on the hard disk. 3) Double click on the "For fulde sejl" icon in the folder. System requirements PowerPC G3 processor or faster, 64 MB Ram, Mouse, Colour monitor, CD-Rom drive (4xSpeed or faster), System 8.5 or higher. ---------- 1) Patented rights The figures and the name "Pixeline" as well as the names "MacOS", "Apple", "Macintosh", "Windows", "Windows 95/98", "QuickTime", and "DirectX" are registered trade marks which belong to the respective copyright owners. ---------- 2) Reservations For optimum efficiency other programmes should be closed when the game is in use. It is important to follow the instructions for installing, starting and playing the game. The retailer, distributor and producer are in no way responsible for the loss of files, programmes, damage to hard ware etc. which may arise during installation and use of the game and connected programmes. Neither is the retailer, distributor and producer responsible for possible mistakes in this guide. The manual for the computer’s steering system should be consulted before software is installed in the computer. ---------- 3) The cd-rom must always be in the drive You cannot play Pixeline without the original CD-Rom disk being in the cd-rom drive. ---------- 4) Speed and volume When you hold down the "ctrl" and "i" keys at the same time a menu appears at the top of the screen, in which you can regulate the volume of speak, sound-effects and music. You can also reduce the details of the graphics to increase the speed of the game. Remember to hold down the "ctrl" and "i" keys again when you have finished using the menu. ---------- 5) Printer problems The graphic files in "Pixeline" are very large. If no errors appear, usually there are no problems - the printer is taking its time reacting to the task. Strange prints can appear if the printer’s own memory is less than 4 MB. Therefore this memory should always be switched off (see Manual) and managed by the Windows print-steering system, before you begin to print from Pixeline. If you continue to have problems you can set printing quality at its lowest. ---------- -1- 6) Pixeline on the internet Contact Pixeline on "www.pixeline.dk" and give compliments or critical comments on the game. -2-

SimpleText Enhancer Version 4.0 2/9/01 © 1998-2001 by Steve Becker. All rights reserved. Mail to: <simpletext@macease.com> Introduction SimpleText is a wonderfully easy-to-use program that is included with virtually every Mac. Unfortunately, it has a very limited feature set. SimpleText Enhancer adds both a substantial list of new features and a Tool Bar to SimpleText while making SimpleText even easier to use. In fact, some of the features included with SimpleText Enhancer aren't even available in most word processors and text editors! Requirements A Macintosh computer with System 7.5.3 or later (including Systems 8, 8.1, 8.5, 8.5.1, 8.6, and 9.x) and a 68020 or later processor (including PowerMacs, iMacs, G3, G4, PowerBooks, and Performas). SimpleText Enhancer requires less than 1 MB of disk space and uses only about .5 MB of RAM. While SimpleText Enhancer hasn't been tested with any System earlier than 7.5.3, I expect it will work fine going back to System 7.1. The latest information on SimpleText Enhancer can be found at <http://www.kagi.com/MacEase>. New in SimpleText Enhancer 4.0 In addition to providing quick, single-click access to many of SimpleText's features, SimpleText Enhancer 4.0 adds the following new features to SimpleText: • You can set your own keyboard shortcut for printing one copy of a file, completely bypassing the need to use your Mouse and to navigate a Print Dialog box. • Additional text styles may be selected from the SimpleText Enhancer Tool Bars. • SimpleText Enhancer's Tool Bars let you quickly move up or down through your document, one page at a time. • SimpleText Enhancer's Tool Bars include a button for quickly either viewing or hiding the contents of the Clipboard. • SimpleText Enhancer allows you to instantly capitalize the first letter of each word in a text selection. • SimpleText Enhancer allows you to quickly double space any lines that end with a single return - 1 - character. • SimpleText Enhancer will count the words in either a text selection or in the entire document. • SimpleText Enhancer will count the characters in either a text selection or in the entire document. • Both SimpleText Enhancer Tool Bars now contain two glossaries that you can customize. • SimpleText Enhancer's Balloon Help has been updated and improved. New Features in SimpleText Enhancer 3.0 Include: • The Auto-Position feature for the Tool Bar may now be turned off. • When the Auto-Position feature is turned off, a Drag button automatically appears. • The Main Tool Bar has been redesigned to take up less Desktop space -- this makes it easier to use with smaller monitors, including PowerBooks. • The Main Tool Bar has had additional text-style buttons added to it. • Alphanumeric sorts on both Tool Bars may now be made to sort from either a lower to a higher value or from a higher to a lower value. • A Speak button has been added that automatically speaks the…

Read Me 1995 Page 1 of 1 Saved: Friday, August 25, 1995 4:49:14 AM The Tesla Game Kit Copyright 1994-1995 Chris K. Thomas. All Rights Reserved. I'm at ckt@best.com. Well, I've been going through my old archives, and I found this. It's a demo game creation source code kit I wrote as a demo for MacPlay over a year ago. It includes: * a sprite toolkit optimized for sidescrolling arcade games, PixelBlizzard * a sound engine capable of rudimentary music and sound effects, SSE * a polygon hit testing engine to be used with the sprite toolkit, PolyMan * a sample game using the C++ application psuedo-framework I was also using for Misebirakasu at the time, MITORI Warrior * some amusing fps estimates (1500 fps! yow!) and a wildly inaccurate fps counter. I was still learning C++ at this time, so wierdness in the framework is likely. Project file for CodeWarrior 68k (probably DR/2, before the new data-fork based file format!) included. It was written, as I recall, over a period of two weeks, and is slightly incomplete as a result. Freeware, on the condition that you give me credit in your about box if you do use this for anything. I have no plans to update this stuff, as I'm building a C++ game framework, completely unrelated to this project. (MacPlay never got back to me, BTW. :P :P )

Read Me — HyperDither 1.2 March 1, 2008 http://www.tinrocket.com/software/hyperdither/ Author: John Balestrieri, Tinrocket, LLC Introduction What does HyperDither do? Short Answer: HyperDither implements the "Atkinson" dithering matrix as an OS X application. Long Answer: HyperDither is an OS X image processing utility that converts color or grayscale images to 1 bit black & white using a sophisticated dithering routine. Specifically, HyperDither implements the “Atkinson” dithering filter. Years ago, during the development of the first Macintosh, Bill Atkinson (of HyperCard, QuickDraw, MacPaint & now nature photography fame) discovered a very elegant dithering filter to convert greyscale image data to the 1 bit black & white Mac video display. The dithering produced by this routine was much higher quality than the now-a-days ubiquitous Floyd-Steinberg or “Error-diffusion” filter (used by QuickTime, PhotoShop). The dither matrix was implemented as an option in Appleʼs long-lost HyperScan software (A HyperCard stack with some XCMDs/XFCNs) that would connect an early Mac to a flatbed scanner. HyperScan, and hence the most-excellent Atkinson dithering routine, has been unavailable for many, many years — but not forgotten! I was able to email Bill Atkinson in January, 2003 and inquire about the details of the algorithm; he was kind enough to respond with a brief write up of the routine — 15 minutes later I had it up and running. Itʼs taken a few spare afternoons since 2003 to pack everything into a nice little application with documentation and an icon — better late than never! *The implementation is not as efficient as the original assembly language code, since it was written in a higher-level language and compiled without optimizations. That said, it should still be plenty fast enough. Pricing The cost of HyperDither is $0.00. (Free to use and own, but not in the public domain) System Requirements HyperDither was developed on OS X 10.4.10 — earlier system versions back to OS X 10.3 should work, but have not been tested. HyperDither is a Universal application, which means it will run natively on PowerPC and Intel Macs. Installation Drag the HyperDither application icon to your Applications folder. Usage HyperDither is pretty straight-forward to use. Launch it and drag or paste an image into the main window! If the picture you've pasted in is bigger than the window, the mouse cursor will turn to a hand cursor and let you scroll the image. A few menu options will now be available: File Menu: New Window — Makes a new HyperDither window for you to paste/drag images or a drag folder into. Open — Select an image for processing Batch Process a Folder — Select a folder for batch dithering. Once you select your folder, you will be prompted for the save location. The batch processed images will be placed into a new folder. Save — Saves the current HyperDither image as a PNG file in the location of your choosing. Options menu: Sharpen …

Adam’s Ultimate NoCD Patch Kit The Template) The Applescript titled Template includes every scenario I’ve run into over the years and can be modified to handle the following: 1. Apps in OSX that will run off of img/iso/dmg images. (This is how it is configured currently). These do not need any special handling of Classic, Screen Resolutions or The Dock. These will mount the image, start the app/game and then unmount the image after the app/game is done being run. 2. Classic Apps. These Need Classic to be started before the app/game is launched to avoid the image being prematurely unmounted. 3. Special Screen Modes. These are unique as them must be saved as an app-bundle and the included Cscreen executable must be placed in the “Resources” folder within that bundle. These will change the screen to, for example, 640x480 at 256 colors, or perhaps 800x600 at “Thousands of Colors (16-bit). The screen will be changed back to normal once operation has ceased. This can also be very helpful for Flash based games in OSX that run slow at full screen resolution. 4. Dock Hiding. Some apps/games (often Classic at low resolution) will not adequately raise their z-value to ‘float’ above all desktop items like the dock. This can be very distracting to see items on the dock react as the mouse gets too close. This part of the process when activated hides the dock and also unhides it after operation is finished. 5. On-Image App/Game Launch. An alternate line of code that allows games that cannot be installed but will run, to be launched directly off the mounted image. Any combination of the above can occur and the modules of “Template” can be commented in and out to make use of whatever functions are needed. Toast Images) Some apps/games cannot be fooled by mounting a normal disk image and require help from Toast. A small secondary app is included called gmMntr that uses a 3rd party app called ToastMount to borrow parts of Toast to seamlessly mount Toast images as though they were actual CDs/DVDs. As is often the case, locking the images is usually required, or Toast will see them as a CD-R/DVD-R. If the Template is calling gmMntr, it is first necessary to edit its “main.scpt” file within /Contents/Resorces/Scripts and put the name of the image and save (Don’t overwrite the bundle itself, or it will break functionality!). gmMntr should then be placed inside the folder with both the NoCD launcher, app/game and disk image. NOTE: sometimes it is not necessary to have an actual ‘Toast’ image to use Toast’s functionality. This will often work also with ISOs. Helpful Apps Included) are: FastIcns: Very good for quickly making custom icons for NoCD launchers. The actual app/game can either be used to create a file-fork icon, or an actual icns file if a Cscreen app-bundle is being mad…
