It includes analog modeled components in combination with digital algorithms such as the SFFT (Short-Time Fast Fourier Transform). This vocoder does not make a direct convolution of the carrier and modulation signal as other digital vocoders maybe do. It includes an envelope follower for every of the eleven bands. This vocoder is optimized for voice processing and includes some algorithms for consonants to make the voice more intelligible. The carrier signal is a VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator) with a Pulse, Saw, Noise and SubOsc. But it’s also possible to use the left stereo input as carrier. This way every sound source can be used as carrier signal. This plug-in supports every sample rate. TAL - Togu Audio Line – 2008 3/7 Installation Windows The plug-in is SSE optimized. At least a Pentium II or higher is required or an AMD equivalent. All hosts that are compatible with VST 2.4 plug-ins are supported. Copy the TAL-Vocoder.dll file into the VST plug-in folder of your host. A rescan of the plug-in directory or a restart of the VST host application may be required. OS X The plug-in is a Universal Binary and works for Intel and PPC Computers and needs a VST 2.4 compatible host. VST Copy the TAL-Vocoder.vst file into the VST …

By Ilan Szekely Programming: Ilan Szekely Much of the data: Nikolas Kovalenko October 2003 What is Type/Creator Database (TCDBx) Every Macintosh file has two four character codes associated with it - its type and creator. The Creator code is unique to each application and enables the Finder to attach documents to their parent applications. This way you can "double click" on the Icon of a document and Mac OS will open it with its correct application. The Type code lets each application differentiate among its files. Type/Creator Database is a collection of those codes. Apple does not provide such a database; they only allow you to see if a certain code is already registered (A registered code must not actually be in use). NEW This is the 25th version of the Database! Now OS X compatible. TCDB 2003.10 for OS X includes 58,921 entries of Type/Creator codes and 19,737 entries with PC file extensions (October 2003) Disclaimer: The PC extension codes are mostly from free sources over the Internet. These sources are not official, and the data validity is not certain. URL Pointers to my sites: Apple .Mac MAIN SITE Disclaimer: I do my best to check the data, but I can take no responsibility to the accuracy of the data. This list of file types was compiled and edited with a lot of effort. The original list was based on the contents of MAC disks I use at home and at work. New versions are mostly additions sent in by people who downloaded the list and sent me updates. I did my best to make the list as accurate and full as possible, but can assume no responsibility for errors in the list. The "official" list is in the hands of Apple, and is not in the public domain. Using the Program TCDBx is built around Provue Panorama for OS X. This tool has versions for PC and older Macintosh systems. Many features are built into Panorama itself: 1. "Moving around" in the database window. You can use the scroll bars of the window, or the Keyboard keys: up arrow / down arrow /, Page-up / Page-down / Home / End. 2. Sorting and finding records. For more information please see Panorama documentation. TCDBx main window includes some buttons and four menus. Menu entries: Panorama menu - includes "About Type/Creator Database", "Help..." [OS X], Quit, and other entries - depending on the Operating System. Selecting menu - includes entries for pre-defined selections and for a Find dialog. Sorting menu - includes entries for sorting by any field (up or down) and some extra sorting options. Tools Menu - includes an entry for a "Preferences" dialog. This allows for setting field fonts. Most menu functions are available via buttons (see picture above). 1. Selecting by any criterion You can select any group by a criterion you define with the Find entry of the Selecting Menu. The "Show all" button restores the original state. 2. Sorting by field You can sort the table by any title. Just click on the blue arrow buttons above the field title. Or use the Sorting …
