Many boyars and their families have come to the castle to join in the festivities, even the Ham Burgher Raanald. Yet there is an odd aura of fatigue about the King that only I, His Majesty 's chamberlain, have seemed to notice. While His loyal subjects and Prince Erik engage in joyous celebration of Princess Sabrina 's deliverance from danger, good King John appears to be ... how can I express his strangeness, drifting away! In fact, this morning His Majesty requested me to keep a journal. It is almost as if He wants a record of everything that happens, but how can He know something will happen? Perhaps I make too much of it. Surely His Majesty is exhausted from anxiety over His daughters's ordeal and is just now revealing His drained emotional state. 7 Long live the King! •• Entry 2 • • ~---~ ife in Wallachia is returning to normal. The castle inhabitants are resuming their everday occupations. The peasants have returned to the fields and mills. The weather is calm and warm . A gentle wind blows from the south . There has been one bizarre occurrence. A monk riding a donkey has been seen wandering through the eastern province. He wields a hoe and offers tea to all he meets! He warns the peasants of the coming of evil. They pay no mind to the monk. They believe he is feeble- minded. However, I wish that I could shake the feeling of foreboding that has come over me and enjoy the days as everyone else does. Even King John seems a little better, although He complains of insomnia. Crosswordz A Quick Start Guide Getting Started: Crosswordz opens with a blank Puzzle Preview window and a blank Puzzle Editor Window (see Figure 1). Figure 1. To start a new puzzle, simply begin filling in crossword clues and answers (see Figure 2). Figure 2. Now press . This will save the clue and allow you to enter a new clue. Continue entering clues and answers until you are finished. Generate a Puzzle: You may make your puzzle at any time by pushing which is found at the lower right corner of the Puzzle Editor window. Your puzzle now appears in the Puzzle Preview window (see Figure 3). Figure 3. Add a Title: Change the title of the puzzle by clicking on the tab . The Title editor (see Figure 4) now appears. Figure 4. Enter a title in the Primary section. The new title will automatically show up in the Puzzle Preview window. The font, style, size, and alignment of the title can be changed using the adjacent controls. Other header information can be entered into the Secondary section. Switch to a Word Search: New in version 2.0! Change the type of the puzzle by clicking on the tab . The following options (see Figure 5) appear. Figure 5. Click and then Press again. A word search should appear (see figure 6) in the Puzzle Preview window. Print a Puzzle: To print a puzzle, go to the File Menu and select Print. A print dialog box will appear (see Figure 7) .
