June 19, 1995 Dear OptiMem RAM Charger User: Here's your new OptiMem RAM Charger Reference Manual. Sorry for the delay. I'd also like to announce that we have just finished version 2.1.1 which we are providing free for downloading to all registered users. This update includes the new OptiMem Settings Wizard to give interactive hints on improving application settings (p. 29 in the manual), and improved shortcuts for turning OptiMization on and off for applications when they start (p. 25-26 in the manual). It also improves the stability of OptiMized applications on systems with complex system configurations and is now able to automatically OptiMize a wider variety of native applications on Power Macs. By the way, the first two reviews on OptiMem RAM Charger have been published, and the reviewers love it: Macworld (july 1995) concludes its i:dr{;:rt:r rating with: "The Mac OS ought to work this way already. Until it does, theres OptiMem RAM Charger. There were no survivors. NASA's shuttle system successfully launched 24 shuttle flights before the fatal Challenger explosion. These men and women were pioneers, individuals who understood the risks associated with spaceflight. Their main objective was to enhance our knowledge of the final frontier. Space exploration will continue; we are deeply saddened that this crew's part in it ended so soon. OPERATING INFORMATION ORBITER requires a lot of memory and uses a lot of high level number crunching; if you use desk accessories during play be aware that this will strainthe memory and slow down the operations. Some numericdisplayswill refresh everytwo or three seconds so the display will show incremental rather than consec- utive increases.
