short FirstClass Internet Services config After you installed FirstClass Server and Internet Services and start both, you have to install FirstClass Client and login as user: admin and password admin. It's a good choice to change your admin password in the collaborate menu now. Open "Internet Services" icon on the FC desktop. You'll see many more icons. Now open "Basic Internet Setup". I used the home-net IP of the computer for primary domain name (10.0.0.140) and the IP of my router for primary DNS server (10.0.0.135). In Mail I switched off any mail choice as I don't use mail in FirstClass. In Web I activated HTTP, in File I activated FTP. That‘s all. Now open the "Advanced Web & File" icon. Allow anonymous HTTP & FTP here. Nothing happens, anonymous users will see no contents yet. If you want anonymous users to see contents (Websites, files), you have to create Websites and/or FTP folders and give access to the "Unauthenticated Users" group. Now you have to configure what's missing: Open the "Gateway & Services" icon on the FC desktop. Now open the "Internet" icon. You must set the "Internet Services gateway password" you want to use to log into Internet Services. By default, the password is blank. For security reasons, we recommend you enter a password immediately. I used the admin password. Now save and close the window. Disconnect and close FirstClass Client. Stop Internet Services and stop FirstClass Server. Now open folder /Library/ FirstClass Server/ Double-click on the file " inetsvcs.fc" or drag&drop it on FirstClass Client. FirstClass Client login window opens, but now you see User: 1000000000 Password: Put in your "Internet Services gateway password" here, save and close FC Client. (don't change this user name!) Start FirstClass Server and start Internet Services again. Now you can make a portscan on the server‘s home-net IP (I use iOS NetAnalyzer for that) and you‘ll see this: before after Please note: FirstClass server and Internet Services is only configured now for your home-net and can't be reached over Internet. For activating Internet you have to tell your router which ports he has to open and which computer (IP) in the home-net is the FirstClass Server. Moreover as most of us don't have a fixed IP in Internet (the IP changes from time to time) you need a (free) service like www.noip.com which points an easy to remember hostname like "myfcserver.zapto.org" to your dynamic IP address. Your router calls www.noip.com everytime when your Internet IP numer has changed. Otherwise, on Mac OS X there is an app called "Send my IP" that sends an email to certain receivers everytime the Internet IP changes, which includes the new Internet IP. That's very simple. I.e. you can use this IP to connect to your FC Server by using FirstClass Moblie. Use the built in FirstClass Client Administrator HELP to read how to add users and more.

SANDS OF TIME INSTRUCTIONS This file contains documentation on several topics of interest to the player of Sands of Time. These topics are: 1) Disk Contents 2) Registration Notice 3) Instruction Notes 4) Strategy Suggestions 5) Saving Games 6) System Considerations 7) Sounds and the Sound Library 1: Disk Contents: Your Sands of Time disk(s) should contain the following files: 2 Disks: 1) SOFT DISK 1 contains: SANDS OF TIME INSTRUCTIONS REGISTRATION CARD 2) SOFT DISK 2 contains: SOFT SOUNDS or 1 Disk: SOFT DISK contains: SANDS OF TIME INSTRUCTIONS REGISTRATION CARD SOFT SOUNDS Only the file SANDS OF TIME is required to actually play the game. The SOFT SOUNDS file is used to add digitized sound effects to the game (this is fully discussed under topic 6 below). The remaining two files provide documention for Sands of Time. 2: Registration Notice: Sands of Time is an interactive graphic adventure game distrubuted as shareware. It may be freely duplicated and distributed, but may not be sold. Users are encouraged to register this game with the author, Jeff Wheeler, by sending in the registration card contained on this disk. See that file for more information on registration. 3: Instruction Notes: Sands of Time is different than some adventure games in that it is a graphic adventure game. This is not to say that it is lewd, but rather that a graphic as well as text description is presented for each circumstance that you find yourself in. You will be presented with a picture and a textual description of where you're at. Both can, and should, be used to help you solve the puzzles and successfully master this game. Furthermore, Sands of Time is different than most graphic adventure games currently available in that it provides you with more than one view for most circumstances. This is described further below. Sands of Time includes several digitized sounds to enhance play. The author wishes to acknowledge and thank the many sources that supplied him with sounds. More information on sounds is supplied in a section below. When you play Sands of Time, you will be taking the role of Elroy Centron, the hero (or goat, depending on how you play) of the adventure. You will be given a specific goal to accomplish, and most of the game will center around this goal. You proceed by giving instructions such as "get book", "go east", "knock on door", etc. Unfortunately, my parser can't understand all of the many ways you can say something, so there may be times when you have to keep trying different phrases to accomplish what you wish. For instance, if "climb up stairs" doesn't work, you might try "go up" or "walk up stairs". The…

-I - N -T- R - U - D - E - R- v1.2 © 1988, 1990 DAVE KELLUM INTRODUCTION The year is 4592- Mankind has reached out for the stars, and grasped them with an ever tightening iron fist. This is the darkest age of the Imperium: A time when mankind walked amongst the stars with others not of his kind, and his soul tarnished with the soot of de-humanizing technology. . . A time when theft, murder and war where ran malignant through the galaxy. . .A time when an individual had to do whatever he could to survive. You're a mercenary who has just cashed in on his latest mission, and waiting for another to start up. You know that on this run down mining planet, it won't be long until someone will be in need of your services. . . The game is fairly easy to play: Simply type in what you want to do. If, say, you wanted to go north, simply type "north", or even more easier, type "N". You can choose several basic commands from the "Commands" menu, as this will speed things up somewhat. The game also understands English commands. The parser (the speech center of the game's brain) looks for "key words" in your commands; it will always understand what you are trying to do, providing what you're trying to do warrants the situation at hand. If you wanted to throw a brick at a very expensive vase, and you have a brick in your possession, and there is a very expensive vase within throwing range, then you can attempt this action by stating so in several different ways: "Throw brick at vase", "Throw the red brick at the vase on the pedestal" or "Valiantly throw the sandy maroon brick at the priceless Ming dynasty vase." In all these situations, the game looks for the guidewords "throw", "brick" and "vase", and will react in accordingly. Just keep the guidewords simple. Don't type "hurl" or "toss" or "chuck" instead of "throw": the parser isn't THAT good. DISSKLAIMER: This game has LOTS of spelling errors: that's beacuse World Builder has NO provision for a spelling checker, and a dictionary is out of the question. I'm a fairly good speller, it's just that we all make little typing mistakes every now and then, right? So, pleaze fourgive me Iff I mispel somthing, okai? FINAL VERSION NOTICE Yep. This is version 1.2, and as far as I'm concerned, it's the final version of Intruder. This version (as well as all the other versions) is FREE! I'm not going to beg for donations or contributions, since less than one half of one percent ever send anything anyway. But If you feel this game is worthy of the trouble involved in sending me money, then go right ahead. Either way, please send me a letter and let me know what you think of the game. Dave Kellum 35949 Avenue 13 1/4 Madera, CA, 93638 GEnie: D.KELLUM You can give copies this game to your friends, your relatives, your hamster. . . you can even radio transmit a copy to Alpha Centauri for all I care, but just do me this one favor: INCLUDE THE DOCUMENTATION PLEASE ! ! ! IOMEGA DRIVER AND WORKSHOP SOFTWARE Version 3.5.3 Release Notes August, 1994 The first two sections of these release notes describe known software and hardware compatibility problems. The third section is a brief revision history for the Iomega Driver. If you are using an earlier version of the Driver, use the revision history to evaluate how you will benefit by upgrading your Iomega software. You can obtain the latest version of the Driver from any of the following: Iomega Bulletin Board (USA) (801) 392-9819 (available 24 hours) 8,N,1; 1200-14.4K baud; ANSI Iomega Bulletin Board (Europe) 49 (0) 761-4504444 (available 24 hours) CompuServe® Go MACCVEN Internet info@iomega.com AppleLink® Iomega.TS America Online Keyword: Iomega CURRENT MACINTOSH SUPPORT: Version 3.5.3 supports Mac Plus computers or newer, including the PowerMac (with PowerPC), Quadra, Performa, Centris, PowerBook, and PowerBook Duo series computers. Release Notes Page 1 Sun, Feb 23, 2025 –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Section 1 KNOWN SOFTWARE INCOMPATIBILITIES SCSIProbe All versions will work to mount Bernoulli disks. If you receive a message from SCSIProbe saying that it is unable to close the Driver, respond OK. You will not lose data by leaving the Iomega Driver loaded. If you are receiving the close driver message each time you remove a Bernoulli disk, you can avoid the message by removing the check from the option box for Close Driver After Ejecting (available under SCSIProbe's Options). SCSIProbe Control Panel: If a Bernoulli disk is inserted when opening the SCSIProbe Control Panel, you will see "•_________________" instead of a description for the disk. You may want to remove all Bernoulli disks before opening the SCSIProbe Control Panel. (This is a SCSIProbe problem which will be fixed in their next release.) Stacker for Mac Version 3.5.3 of the Iomega Driver works with Stacker for Macintosh on Bernoulli 90MB and 150MB drives. Stacker is not compatible with other Iomega products. This is due to Stacker's failure to properly support Bernoulli drives. If you are using Stacker, upgrade your Iomega Software to 3.5.3 and make sure you update all your Bernoulli disks. CAUTION: The stacked volume on a Bernoulli disk will only work correctly with versions 3.5.2 or higher of the Iomega Driver. If you try to use a stacked Bernoulli disk on a system which is running an earlier version of the Iomega Driver, you will see a message to eject or initialize the disk. Eject the disk immediately and install 3.5.3 software before attempting to use the disk. Release Notes Page 2 Sun, Feb 23, 2025 Apple File Exchange & PC Exchange Apple File Exchange and PC Exchan…
