You laugh, but I've had more inquiries on this than most anything else I've done that is mac68k related.

I figured out the problem, I never quite waited for the full 10x longer MemCheck before video output to finish
So, what you're saying is that you DID in fact get a 128MB SIMM to work in a 630?

I'm curious what would happen if I tried putting one in mine. I have a Rev. A logic board with two SIMM slots, one says it supports 16MB and smaller, and the other supports up to 32MB SIMMS. I confirmed this years ago, it will not boot at all, and I never get video with a 32MB SIMM in the 16MB slot (also tried with various sizes in the 32MB slot, no change.)

Do you know offhand what rev your board is?
