Got these as a gift in a Vintage Apple plastic bag yesterday. Both shirts were in plastic wrapping never used but i had to see what they were so i opened them up!
- T-Shirt - "Introducing OSX version 10.2"
- T-Shirt - "See How Everything is easier on a Mac" (longsleeve)
- About 25 pcs of Apple II's 5.25" software disks (have not yet gone thru them what they contain/or even work). These came in plastic keeper-boxes. These belonged to my friend, might be some school project software/data on them (1981-1984-era). Atleast his name is on few of these, heh.
- MacAlly Bluetooth Headset (NIB) - will open this, my wife might want to use these.

Too bad that disk "Funktiot 007 Apple Computer Finland" disk did not work... i think about 5 or 6 disks out of some 30 did not work.
Gotta love the Cube!
Picked an almost stock G4 Cube with an airport card and virtually new Dr.Botts powersupply from colleque for 50€. I think it had 128Mb RAM, 20GB HDD and DVD-ROM. Not yet powered up.
I once gave this for him for free, only sold that Dr.Botts powersupply (new in a box), for 50€ to him.
This Cube is heading to a friend who's been looking for one for ages if he still wants one.

Question:
Was it possible to upgrade original 128k board to Plus with just ROM from PLUS & 800k drive, resulting an 128ke or just Plus?
I am not yet able to pull the board out as the additional board in top of the motherboard wont fit out. Need to find tools and bend the motherboard holding metal in the corner to get it out to take a better look of the ROM and the addition board. The additional board looks like it has wires to the motherboard etc and not easily removeable. A colleque who knows still people at Tektor Oy, will ask about this how they did these.
Bummer. Not an original 128k afterall.. :'( so sad.
Looks like this is worth keeping due historical reasons as it has the local made Addition board and not restoring with replacement 128k board even i would be very very tempted to restoring it back to it's original state. Too bad the SCSI connector HOLE in the back is not fixable, atleast easily. Looks like that the people who made the upgrade signed their OWN names to the case too :lol:

Some low-quality shots. Wasn't able to remove the motherboard without suitable tools as the add-on board was on the way. Let's see tomorrow with proper tools can bend the metal rail wich holds the motherboard.
According to this AppleFritter article, that's a Rev1 board. Interesting, it made its way to a labeled 128k casing. Nice find!
This is what amazed me. I was sure it was an 512k board when i saw the add-on. I just wonder why they replaced the motherboard to earlier one when they did the upgrade at Tektor Oy. I might get info soon as one colleque knows still people there and they might remember how they did these. On old brochures i have from them, they list upgrades to be done if customer send their motherboard to them to be upgraded.
Need to clean and oil the floppy drive next.
That reminds me...
I need to stop putting of the 512kE's Internal Floppy and re-oil that. At least the System Disk got stuck, so I can still boot it. If it wasn't for that (and the lack of a long T15 screwdriver), I would have that thing open ASAP so I could use it. I'm so lazy. :lol:

I wonder if Rev 1 boards were cheap and plentiful after the 512k upgrades came out. If you're going to sell an entire upgraded board with more memory, why not use 128k Mac boards as a starting point?
Might be so as this shop did a lot of repairs and upgrades back then. They had some of their own products made as well. It could be readily made board they they just swapped those in if somebody wanted an upgrade. Hope i can get more info about this practise soon from them as they are still around.
We managed to get the board out and take some pictures. © 1983 board, upgraded with Tektor Oy's FINNMAC board with 1Mb RAM and SCSI. I'll add some close-up pictures later. Interesting wiring going on.
Definitely a case of availability, the 128k boards were very reasonably priced from Shreve back in the day. I bought one to do the "solder a socket to the legs" version of installation for a NewLife board in my 512k. I kept the better board for backup in case I borked something. I must have messed it up, as I took it to Tekserve. They sorted it out and my friend had the techsinstalled four keychain SIMMs to bring it to 2.5MB for free. They said it was a very interesting board.
I don't understand the point of downgrading a useful 128k to it's original, semi-usable state. One that was "factory" upgraded to a useful configuration, having more memory, better FDD and especially the SCSI upgrade, is a far more significant addition to a collection than the memory deprived, floppy-swap saddled standard issue 128k, IMHO. Let's face it, had the 128k's GUI not been so revolutionary, the watered down Mac might not have lasted until the 512k real deal shipped. Without the external FDD, the 128k was only just barely a viable product in terms of usability, even the 512k was annoying enough without a second FDD in my experience.
No hate mail please, these are just my opinions, YMMV.

Dunno, what you have there is far more rare and even farther more useful than a stock 128k. Much more historically, significant, IMHO.

If we are talking about machines in Finland, seems that stock 128k is way more rare. I've heard from several first hand sources that a lot of (nobody can say what rate or %) original 128k's were upgraded to either 512k or "Plus". Historically interesting and that's why worth keeping.
I'd still prefer stock 128k.
I agree that a 128k is more historically significant than one with a mundane 512k/512ke/Plus off the shelf Apple upgrade. But a 128k MoBo with modifications such as yours trumps a stock 128k. Rare, intact upgrades not available from Apple enhance a 128k's rarity, removing them leaves just a hacked up 128k MoBo. It looks like your board would allow for an FPD Card to be installed as well. Now that would be historic as an early DTP workstation . . .

Picked some great condition and clean joysticks, one Apple //e & //c -model with manual and one "Joystick 600" boxed with manual and adapters from the same guy who i got the Apple ][ software disks and games last week. He might have some manuals and magazines as well.
That "Joystick 600" lists as Compatible with :
