A little bit of Lisa . . .
Don't really have a need for it, the Pismo has USB. I'm figuring the bezel will be removable per the original or flip up on Eurohinges for cabinets. That way I'll be able to see the freakin' menu bar to service the slide show.
I kind of like the head mount trophy lookin' aspect of the thing. }

I have Spring Break coming up in a couple weeks, and have the 8th through 12th off (plus the weekend, of course.) That would be the best time for me to go, anyway. I believe they're only open on weekdays.

LisaP - Pretty cool! an interesting concept.
If you guys make the trip, please keep a look out for blue kangaroo emblems. That signifies an Outbound product (Mac clones from ~1990). There may be accessories in kangaroo marked boxes as well (white box with blue kangaroo).
Also, any Mac Pluses or SEs with what looks like a ribbon cable with a mini-centronics connector coming out of the lower right vent. Of course, it might just come out the back. It's really a Hirose DX series connector, but it looks a lot like a tiny centronics connector.

Thanks, uni. I looked for profile views of the Lisa today and came up dry. I think the end-on view is the least attractive angle of the Lisa case design. It looks pretty terrible from what I can see.
Could someone take an end-on shot of a Lisa for me?
Never mind the pics, I think I've figured out why the Lisa is almost always photographed at a 3/4 angle or less. The side is, without doubt, its bad side.

The one side I don't like is the back, so plain, and 1 tiny Apple on the back. Apple should have put a nice big rainbow logo on the back (maybe that's what the rainbow stickers were for?).

Heh! There's no accounting for taste, some folks like the looks of the 5xx series too!

The Silent Running robots are more like walking TAMs. (Given what they originally cost I'm sort of surprised that they didn't each come with their own tiny little amputee inside.)

Well, pending further playtime in AI and hardware testing, the BigTwiggyBit and DOA Pismo LCD have been stored in the Luggable Hacks project box.
I can't stress enough how great that BigAss Pismo Display looks underneath the the Bezel. The seamless way it fades away from the edges of the CRT opening is nothing short of magical. Next step in the hardware testing will be tearing down one of the 12" RGB 'zaToppers to check out the CRT's fit in the bezel. That would be the other option for faking up the rest of an E.T. Lisa. Not enough Pixels to match the Lisa's display, but color and a suitable MoBo update would be very nice indeed.

I just took apart one of the 12 RGB PizzaBoxToppers to test the fit of the CRT's curvature to the Lisa Bezel. It's perfect, I can use it for a vacuum forming buck for the LisaP a/o the RGB case just fine . . . but I did the take apart on the floor in front of the TelCo Rack . . .

The little bit of Lisa front bezel is just lovin' that 12" RGB's fit and that cute little monitor (of which I have two) is lovin' the Lisa, it's a marriage made in heaven. It may not exactly be oP's Rich Man's Grayscale Lisa/30 project concept, but it's close enough for me! [] ]'>
I'm losing pixels, but the 12" RGB is just lovin' the P6360's (un-doubled) 512 x 364 16bit pixel feed. Nuthin' hooked up to the tuner ATM, but the "RGB snowstorm" behind the Lisa Bezel looks freakin' awesome! The 16bit Desktop is really nice as well, if a bit small.
I'll try to take some pics later.

Got tired of picking up . . . and played with the camera and Pismo500 GraphicConverter WorkStation for a bit, so piccies are up! 
Sorry about the angle and keystoning, the bezel doesn't snug up to the fully assembled CRT's case very well. So I needed to skew the setup to get the centering of the desktop acceptable.
You can't quite see it in this near front on view, but just the front bezel itself is nearly 18" wide, so there's no way it's going to fit through the uprights of my TelCo Rack.
In the oblique view, you can see that the RGB's case plastics are in the way. The fit was almost spot-on while it sat there naked behind the Lisa Bezel for several months. I had to get a feel for having it sit directly underneath the 32" HDTV (sans cable/antenna feeds) on my AV TelCo Rack in the bedroom. I decided that I like it just fine right where is. [] ]'>
You can see here that the total assembly will be a gt shorter than the standard size TelCo rack shelves. The ersatz lisa section of the LisaPtv™ will abut the rack uprights at full Lisa width while the rest will continue through the uprights. Not sure if this hack will be freestanding or built into a custom upper/lower shelf combination or built upon a "flat" lower shelf kind of deal. We'll see!
Here's the great-grandaddy of them all.
The shorter the metal sides of the LisaPtv™ will approximate the outer plastic case shape/dimensions, but they'll be sheet metal stylin' like ProtoLisa's ruggedized form. The bent sheet metal housing's "pursed lip" effect will add the cubic needed to house the larger 12" RGB CRT. Faking up the ProtoLisa's cubic CRT well/stock chassis just won't work at all, but there are ways! [] ]'>
The authentic feets/chin section price on the 'Bay is out of my price range and a bit too deep to boot. So the Rackmount Lisa will have only one laminated feets (wooden clog?) and maybe that on-off toggle switch controlling an internal, UL Approved metal gang box built "power strip."
The vertical metal front panel (with wooden clog and switch) is just a tad heigher than the sheet metal chassis of a P62XX Road Apple . . .
. . . convenient that! ;D
