This is such a good question, it bears being repeated as often as possible. If the US is against dictators all over the world, why is Fidel still in power in Cuba?
Because even though this war has NOTHING to do with oil, , we can live without cuban cigars.

I pick anti-war. How ****ing hard is it to realize anti-war isn't pro-saddam. No blood is no blood. The anti-war folks don't want american casualties, we don't want collateral damage. We don't want death. All avenues haven't been exhausted. Let's find a peaceful solution to this. Anti-war isn't anti-American...

So you also don't want the death of many many many more Iraqis under Saddam too right? And sense the past 12 years nothing else has worked to stop him, and he isn't even listening to force, what makes you think something peacful will work? It hasn't the past 12 years.

Thats the problem with you guys! Knowing nothing about the world and thinking they have the solution! ROTFL!!

UN Resolutions kept Saddam at power and killed thousands of innocent people!

Do you really think the war will end with the death of Saddam??? You just dont know the arabic worls, they will never accept it that american troops occupy an arabic country, just like shiites will never allow american troops in their holy cities of Karbala and Nasiriyah!

What will be the result? More terroristic attack!!

Again this war doesn`t prevend terror it support terrorism! And again when the Iman of Iraq thinks it would be a good idea to attack the US troops from iranian territory it will be even worse. This will happen when the US dont allow him to take part of the first democratic elections. The reason america wont allow it is that if they did Iraq will become a fundamentlistic state! And what will you get a minority government that can only exsist because of the support of american troops. A government that will not stabilze but distablize the country because it will not have the support of the majority of the iraqi people and will not be accepeted by the arabic countries...maybe some governments will but for sure not their population!

If you're going to get angry, I suggest you jump on the appeasers and peacenik types, and those who have decided to use the war for political propaganda. Those folks make it necessary to look for and highlight the Al Queda connection, the WMDs, the war crimes, and other stuff. There's your target.

The folks who've decided to use this war for politics need to be stoned in the streets.

You are one sick puppy.

The fact that this country is willing to help the lives of others, in the process may effect their, makes me proud to be a American.

We will see, if this turns out really bad, and starts WW3. I will eat my hat.

That's so selfish. This sums up your reasoning pretty well: "Saddam only kills his own people. It's none of our buisness!"

No this war is killing iraqi people! The UN Resolution are killing iraqi people for 12 years now!

The progress of change is going to take a long time!!! Without those stupid resolutions Saddam would have been long time gone! Everytime there was an opposition in iraq or the people tried to break free from Saddam he provocated the americans and british and what was the result bombing iraq! That way Saddam could always say: You see not me but the americans are the problem everytime we build something they bomb it! Its not my fault children are dying because they dont get the medical support they need since the UN dont allow important medical equipment to be imported!!!

And he even told them the truth by saying that! Because of this useless embargo the medical support of the people could not be managed!

Where??? You dont mean the propaganda pictures the US government is showing all the time? Maybe you should sometimes watch european press!!! Why do you think Basra ist still not in allied hands??? Go to Jordan and talk to iraqi refugees and ask them what they think! They will all tell you: we hate Saddam but we will never allow foreign troops to occupy our country!!!

go here: www.mediachannel.org for independent american press, its a site of a famous american journalist that says there is no critical american press anymore, all are helping the Bush Administration with their propaganda and dont forget this war is not only fought with soldiers but also with information! we in Europe saw the pictures and movies of american casualties and POWs days before you in america did! We get a lot more information here than you get in the USA! This war is also an information war!

And THIS is the one thing about liberalism I hate the most.

Ann Coulter put it best: "Liberals don't believe there is such a thing as 'fact' or 'truth.' Everything is a struggle for power between rival doctrines." -- P. 113, Slander

It's not the US government that has media reporters embedded into the military. Its international media organizations, from all over the world.

Yes, there have been hostile civilians who DON'T want the US in their country and town. But, you can't deny the many pictures of civilians who chant "Bush" and "America". There are going to be people on all points in between those two perspectives as well.

ROTFL!!!

Sorry to wake you up but America didn't invend democracy!!!
