Wait till buttermilk falls freezes over and it's climbable. Ithaca winters are crappy, but don't you think they're pretty standard for upstate NY? I spend five years in Rochester enjoying winter in the ghetto, and before that, a bunch in bumf*%k western NY where there's snow and ice AND no people with opposable thumbs.

You think Rochester winters suck, you should have slid a little east and enjoyed some of my yearly winter nightmare. You had it good compared to what I have to deal with.

I forgot there were a bunch of NNer's in Ithaca. I was down there last sunday. I shoulda looked you guys up for some beers.

As for schools. I went to LeMoyne and Syracuse, but I know absolutely nothing about music programs, so I can't help with that.

yeah, buttermilk isnt bad, but ive been arrested there. lick brook is where its at. i know the fingerlakes land trust people so permits come easy. no matter, walking around campus isnt really that fun at all. i came back from balmy southern india this winter to be greeted with 8 degree weather as i was walking down tower road from the dairy bar to meet my advisor. not fun.

TI- where did you eat now that coyote loco has gone under??

I went to Tisch for Film & TV and I highly recommend it. I graduated last December and I've been working for a leading primetime TV drama since January.

For music, however, I have no idea... that dept is brand new.

What kind of work are you doing on this TV drama?
Binghamton University.
Kind of partial though. Ithaca is beautiful year round. Syrcause isn't bad I think the winters are worse there then any place in Upstate.

Northern NY (Potsdam/Clarkson area) is colder than Syracuse, and Buffalo gets more snow early in the winter, but Syracuse definitely takes the crown for Crappiest Weather in NY State. I don't think I've ever driven through Syracuse in the winter without encountering some bad weather.
