Marathon-Phile Juggler is a file-management utility for Bungie's Marathon, written by Richard Burgess. It lets players organise the maps, physics models, sounds, shapes and other resource files that Marathon loads at launch, so swapping between map packs and patch combinations no longer means duplicating files by hand.
What it solves
Marathon expects its support files to sit next to the application. Players who collected community maps, sound replacements and physics hacks ended up keeping multiple copies of the game folder. Phile Juggler points Marathon at whichever resources you want for the next session instead.
Drag-and-drop sets
Version 2.0 introduced a drag-and-drop interface: drop files from the Finder into the window to build a named set, attach comments, and save the set as a double-clickable icon that re-applies that loadout in one step.
Release
The Info-Mac archive carries the 2.0b7 beta. The author distributed it as shareware aimed specifically at Marathon and Marathon 2 players running on classic Mac OS.
Companion files
A separate small patch in the same Marathon archive directory, phile-juggler-grey-screen.hqx, addresses a grey-screen launch issue that some users hit on certain Mac configurations.
