Adolf is a custom scenario for the Macintosh release of id Software's Wolfenstein 3D, almost certainly Laz Rojas's well-known Auf Wiedersehen, Adolf! pack from the mid-1990s. It replaces the stock maps with a fresh campaign of Nazi bunkers, secret rooms and boss encounters playable on the original Mac Wolfenstein 3D engine.
Gameplay
The scenario keeps Wolfenstein 3D's fast corridor combat, secret-door hunting and key-card progression intact, while introducing new level layouts, encounter pacing and end-of-episode showdowns built around the campaign's narrative.
Installation
The scenario is loaded by the Mac Wolfenstein 3D application as an alternate data set. Drop the scenario file into the Wolfenstein 3D folder and select it from the engine's scenario picker at launch.
Author and Provenance
Laz Rojas was the most prolific author of Mac Wolfenstein 3D scenarios in this era, releasing a long series of campaigns through the 1990s. Confirm the exact scenario name and version from the included README.
Compatibility
Requires a working install of Mac Wolfenstein 3D on a 68k or PowerPC Mac running classic Mac OS, or under SheepShaver/Basilisk II.
