Graveyard is the Info-Mac distribution of Hitler's Graveyard, a single-scenario Wolfenstein 3D map pack by Laz Rojas. The download adds new sounds and graphics on top of either the third-encounter shareware release or the full commercial Mac version of Wolfenstein 3D.
Concept
Hitler's Graveyard is a one-scenario expansion rather than a stand-alone game: load it into a working copy of Wolfenstein 3D for Mac and the engine swaps in Rojas's custom maps, replacement graphics, and replacement sound effects for the duration of the scenario. The scenario's pulp horror premise (a Nazi-era cemetery) drives the new art set.
Compatibility
The read-me notes compatibility with Wolfenstein 3D's "3rd Encounter" shareware release as well as the full commercial Mac build. Without one of those host games installed the archive will not run; this is purely an asset/level overlay, not a redistribution of id Software's engine.
Author and context
Laz Rojas (filmman@pacificnet.net) authored a long string of Wolfenstein 3D and DOOM scenarios in the mid-1990s. Hitler's Graveyard is one of the individually distributed Mac entries in that catalog; many of the same maps were later collected into the multi-scenario "Scenarios of Laz" compilation also mirrored on Info-Mac.
