Gryphon Bricks is described by its publisher as "an inexhaustible toychest of virtual Lego bricks," a 1996 creative construction toy from Gryphon Software whose models can even be animated with AppleScript. This demo build showcases the isometric building environment for Mac users curious to try the toolkit.
Virtual Brick Construction
The application presents an isometric workspace where users snap colored bricks together to assemble buildings, vehicles, and freeform sculptures, mirroring the feel of physical plastic construction sets.
AppleScript Animation
Beyond static models, Gryphon Bricks exposes its scenes to AppleScript, allowing scripted motion and choreography of completed creations.
System Requirements
The release targets a 16 MHz 68020 or better, System 7.1 through Mac OS 9.2.2, 4 MB of RAM, a 256-color display, and a CD-ROM drive.
Demo Scope
As a demo, this download is intended to preview the building experience rather than serve as the full retail toolkit.
