Catch The Buzz 2.0 is a May 1995 arcade game from Lionel Cons (cons@dxcern.cern.ch) of CERN. It looks like Tetris on the surface, but the goal is entirely different: instead of stacking blocks, the player must corner and catch a small, fast-moving creature called the Buzz inside the playfield.
Gameplay
The Buzz is a nasty little beast that skitters around the grid; the player has to manipulate the play area to trap it, blending puzzle layout with reflex-driven pursuit.
Version 2.0
Version 2.0 is a complete rewrite. The rules are unchanged, but animation is dramatically smoother thanks to Ingemar Ragnemalm's SAT sprite package, and the game now runs in color while still supporting black-and-white screens. Several graphics and sounds were also refreshed.
Compatibility
The author states it should work on any Macintosh running any reasonably recent system version.
