Circles 121 X is a Mac OS X port of a simple Cocoa puzzle game by Jochen Pier of Cyclon Softworx. The goal is to fill the circles in the upper half of the game window with circle segments, in a style the author describes as a little Tetris-like but considerably simpler.
Gameplay
You assemble circles from segments dropped into the play field. The pace and approach feel familiar to anyone who has played falling-piece puzzles, but the geometry is rounded rather than blocky.
Version 1.2 changes
According to the author, version 1.2 introduced a change to the game principle and visual style. Version 1.2.1 is a small follow-on to that revision.
Platform
The game is written in Cocoa and targets Mac OS X. As a native Cocoa app, it does not require Classic compatibility libraries.
