Digital Wipeout Dk

Digital Wipeout DK is the Danish-language edition of John Mauro's shareware math game Digital Wipeout, translated by Casper Strunge Andersen. The gameplay is unchanged: roll three dice, combine them with arithmetic, and wipe out numbers on the board before the timer expires, alone or with up to eight players.

Localization

This release replaces the English interface and prompts with Danish text courtesy of Casper Strunge Andersen, making the game accessible to Danish-speaking households and classrooms. The English version remained available separately from John Mauro Software and the Info-Mac archives.

Gameplay

Each turn you roll three dice and apply addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division to target a number on the grid. Wiping out a number scores points and can clear adjacent squares. Up to eight human or computer players can play at once, and solo players try to set a new record by clearing the entire board.

Customization

Version 4.0 features full game-board customization, including toggleable elements and user-supplied background pictures, plus CD-quality sound by Fadeout Studios.

System Requirements

Mac OS 7.0 or higher, 2048K of RAM, and a color monitor. Apple QuickTime 3.0 and Mac OS 8.5 are recommended.
