Allgood Spite and Malice is a Classic Mac card game by Mike Perry, part of his Allgood line that also includes Allgood Solitaire. It implements the two-player card game Spite and Malice (also known as Cat and Mouse), in which each player races to empty a face-down pay-off pile by building shared center stacks from Ace to Queen.
Rules of Spite and Malice
Players draw from a stockpile and play to communal foundation piles in strict ascending order. Side-stack discards block the opponent, and Kings act as wild cards. The first player to exhaust their pay-off pile wins the round.
Single-player versus the Mac
The game pits the user against a computer opponent, making it a convenient way to learn or practice a card game traditionally played head-to-head. Casual players appreciate its quick rounds and clear visual feedback.
Allgood family
Mike Perry's Allgood series is a small collection of polished Mac card titles. The sibling Allgood Solitaire shares its visual style and interaction model, giving the line a consistent feel across releases.
Preservation
