Hearts-Camp 96 is a character pack from Freeverse Software that drops three new computer opponents into Hearts Deluxe: Bill Clinton, Ross Perot, and Bob "I'm Still Retired" Dole. It is a topical election-year add-on rather than a standalone game, riding on top of Freeverse's already-popular shareware card game.
What it adds
Once installed, the three campaign-trail characters appear as selectable opponents at the Hearts Deluxe table, complete with their own portraits and names. The underlying Hearts gameplay is unchanged; this pack only swaps in new player personalities.
Installation
Download the archive, unstuff it, and place the resulting file inside the same folder as your Hearts Deluxe application. Hearts Deluxe will pick the new characters up automatically the next time it launches.
Requirements
You need System 7.1 or later and Hearts Deluxe version 4.0 or later, available from Freeverse and most Mac shareware mirrors.
Publisher
Released by Freeverse Software (Ian Lynch Smith) of New York City, the same studio behind Hearts Deluxe and a long line of other classic Mac card and board games.
