Rick Holzgrafe's Solitaire Till Dawn is a deep card-game collection for the classic Macintosh, packing more than thirty solitaire variants into a single polished application. MacAddict ranked it "Freakin' Awesome!" and listed it among its Top 50 Shareware Programs.
Thirty-plus variants in one deck
The catalog spans the familiar to the punishing: Klondike, Canfield, Golf, FreeCell, Spider, and The Towers sit alongside more exotic spreads. Version 3.4 added Mount Sunflower (created by Randy Rasa) and an auto-save feature so a long night with the cards can be resumed later.
Card Shark options
The signature "Card Shark" toolkit speeds skilled play with smart cards that recognize legal moves, early win detection that calls a guaranteed game, and an Am-I-Stuck check that quietly tells you when no moves remain.
Comfortable presentation
Players can pick from multiple card sizes, card backs, and window backgrounds, with unlimited undo and redo for second-guessing. The interface is built around the keyboard and mouse conventions Mac users were already fluent in.
Runs on any Mac
The 3.4 release requires System 7.0 or later and runs on any Macintosh, making it a sibling to other Semicolon Software releases by the author of The Tilery and Scarab of RA.
