AntiQuadra 2.0.2 is a freeware Macintosh implementation of an unusual Patience (solitaire) variant by George Stepanek. Version 2 added color card faces and a fat-binary build with native PowerPC code, and the 2.0.2 update fixes a minor bug, refreshes the documentation, and lets the game run cleanly off CD-ROM.
Gameplay
AntiQuadra plays a less-common form of Patience with smooth animation, infinite Undo and Redo, and an X-Ray mode for peeking at hidden cards. A tiny DA-style mode lets it sit unobtrusively on the desktop alongside other work.
Configuration and Help
The game ships with a large set of Preferences for tailoring rules and presentation, plus a comprehensive Balloon Help system that explains every control and option in place.
Compatibility
Suitable for any Mac from the SE/30 up to the then-current Power Macs, and compatible with all versions of System 7. The 2.x release is distributed as a fat binary so 68k and PowerPC machines run native code.
