About

Allgood Solitaire is a Macintosh shareware solitaire collection from Mike Perry of Allgood Software, distributed via Info-Mac and the developer's site. Version 3.1 -- archived here -- bundles 65 different solitaire variations into a single Carbon application, ranging from familiar staples like Klondike to less common patience games rarely found in commercial decks.

The game library

The 65 variations span well-known classics including Klondike, Pyramid, and Canfield alongside more eclectic patience games such as Will O Wisp and Monte Carlo. Each variant has its own rule set, layout, and victory conditions, giving the package a wide stylistic range from one-deck speed games to slower multi-deck puzzles.

Features

All games support undo and redo, pile peeking, and per-variant statistics. Version 3.1 specifically added more keyboard shortcuts, an enhanced statistics view, and a configurable game button panel for jumping between variants. The shared engine keeps controls and presentation consistent across the library.

System requirements

Allgood Solitaire 3.1 is a Carbon application: it runs natively on Mac OS X and on Mac OS 8.6 and later when CarbonLib is installed. Later releases from Allgood Software expanded the library substantially, but this Info-Mac entry captures the 65-game Carbon-era build.

Distribution

The package is shareware with a $15 registration fee, paid directly to Allgood Software (allgoodsw.com). Mike Perry's contact address (trick@allgoodsw.com) appears in the Info-Mac upload header, identifying him as the sole developer behind the engine and game-rule implementations.
