Paragon Blackjack is a classic Mac shareware card game from Paragon Software, the same developer behind the better-known Paragon Poker Suite. It deals a faithful single-table simulation of casino blackjack to System 7 and Mac OS 9 desktops, complete with chip-stack betting and standard table rules.
Single-Player Casino Blackjack
The game presents a one-on-one match against the dealer, with hit, stand, double-down, and split actions selected via on-screen controls. House rules and payout structure follow conventional Las Vegas blackjack.
Part of the Paragon Card Suite Lineage
Released as a sibling to Paragon Poker Suite, Paragon Blackjack reuses the same crisp Platinum-era interface idiom: a green felt table, fixed playfield window, and minimal menu chrome that fits comfortably on small Classic Mac displays.
Classic Mac System Requirements
Distributed for the 68k and PowerPC Mac, Paragon Blackjack runs under System 7 through Mac OS 9 and is well-suited to emulators such as SheepShaver and Basilisk II. Color is supported but not required.
