Word Find

Word Find is a program that creates word find (aka word search) puzzles. It allows words to be entered directly into the program or imported from a text file. Word Find allows the user to customize the puzzle by selecting the size of the puzzle, the font to be used, the directions the words can be hidden in, and the size of font. The method that is used to hide the words in the puzzle can also be selected to create a puzzle where the words are as interconnected as possible or sparsely interconnected. Word Find also allows the user to select which characters are to be used in the puzzle. Any ASCII character can be selected as valid. This allows the user to make puzzles using non-English fonts, or puzzles using symbols or numbers. Word Find provides capabilities to print the puzzle or save it to a file. Files created by Word Find are text files that can be directly imported into any word processor. The puzzle image can also be copied as a PICT image, to be pasted into another word processor or drawing program. Printing options include the ability to put a title on the puzzle and/or print a field for filling in a person's name (particularly useful for Teachers).
