You should be able to petition it into 2gb partitions. If that's not going to work a smaller card should, although you may need a third party formatting software either way.

I've been talking to the company that sold me the adapter. They suggested I try a smaller memory card. Is 16gb too much for OS 9? If there's a maximum I would imagine it's way m…

I have a Lisa that has yet to start up, but I have a little time to work on it now. I got a power supply with the Lisa that was assumed non-working (since I don't know whether or …

I wasn't too clear, but I was sort of inferring the same thing. I think the compliance issue goes beyond Cardbus, though - since it hasn't worked properly on either the 3400 or Ka…

I discovered I can hit control+reset on the IIgs and get a BASIC prompt. Who needs startup disks?!
Wow, I wish the Mac had as much useful stuff built into ROM.

I wouldn't assume your widget is broken, until you've connected it to an actual Lisa. Maybe the brake isn't supposed to deactivate until it sees a certain signal from the computer,…

My borrowed widget drive also makes loud click-clack sounds when powered on and off. I assume that's normal?
The guy who I borrowed the Lisa from said initially the drive didn't s…

I like to add to the current state that after a time the green light op top will burn continually. If you then switch of power you will hear a hard click.

Ah, so it *is* supposed to be color, but not seeing the color on a composite video output is normal? I guess I can live with that. I didn't have any success with the 2001FP's VGA i…
