Marathon Kit is a player-made reference pack for Bungie's original 1994 Marathon, posted to Info-Mac on January 10, 1995 by Jamal Hannah. It collects PICT-format maps of every level in the game, drawn and labeled by Sean Hollick under the handle TATTMAN.
What is included
The download is a set of overhead map images for each level of Marathon, presented in order with their official level names so players can navigate complex layouts at a glance.
Format
All maps are stored as classic Mac PICT graphics, viewable in any era-appropriate paint or preview application. The kit is documentation rather than software - it adds no code to the game itself.
Context
The kit is one of many community references and tools that grew up around Marathon in 1994-95, archived under info-mac/game/com/mthn alongside scenarios, sound replacements, and editing utilities for Bungie's first-person shooter.
