Alien Conspiracy is a side-scrolling shooter built with Apple's Cocoa framework, distributed via Info-Mac by Ryan Foltz of Epic Banana. The player controls a spy infiltrating a crashed alien craft in the desert, juggling mission objectives like recovering crash coordinates and planting a bomb at the ship's core.
A Cocoa-era action game
The submission notes describe Alien Conspiracy as built with Apple's then-new Cocoa frameworks, placing it among the early native Mac OS X action experiments rather than the Classic-era Pascal and THINK C lineage that dominates the rest of the Info-Mac game tree.
Mission structure
Rather than a single arcade loop, the game strings together objectives across the alien craft: locating the crash site, planting explosives, and surviving escalating waves of hostile crew before a final commando encounter raises the stakes.
Weapons and difficulty
Five regular weapons cover the main playthrough, with an additional bonus weapon reserved for elite players who push deeper into the harder enemy patterns.
Author and distribution
Released by Ryan Foltz (foltz@mix-net.net) under the Epic Banana label, the same small studio responsible for Pedestrian Devastation, and uploaded to the Info-Mac game archive as a BinHex submission.
