This Wheel of Fortune is a fan-made Macintosh adaptation of the long-running TV game show, originally published on a MacAddict magazine CD and later released as freeware. Submitted to Info-Mac by Harley N. Bradley, it requires HyperCard or the HyperCard Player to run.
HyperCard adaptation
The game is built as a HyperCard stack rather than a standalone application, making HyperCard or the freely distributable HyperCard Player a prerequisite for play.
Sounds from the official show
Audio for the game was sourced from the official Wheel of Fortune website at the time, giving the stack the show's wheel spins, buzzers and chimes rather than generic system sounds.
Built-in puzzle editor
The release ships with an editor that lets players assemble their own puzzle sets, extending replay value beyond the bundled board content.
From shareware to freeware
Originally distributed as shareware after its MacAddict CD appearance, the author later re-released it as freeware for the Info-Mac archive.
