This add-on bundle ships music and a custom level (number seven) for Reality Bytes' 1994 first-person shooter Sensory Overload. Players drop the resources into the game folder to expand the original BioTex Research Labs campaign with an extra mission and an additional soundtrack track.

About Sensory Overload

Released in 1994 by Reality Bytes for the Macintosh, Sensory Overload casts the player as an undercover CIA agent infiltrating BioTex Research Labs. The core game is a tile-grid first-person shooter in which you collect ammo, med-kits, and weapons while disabling security systems and confronting Dr. Craven's henchmen.

What's in the pack

The archive contains a level file (referenced as Level 7) and matched music resources. The level extends the original campaign with new corridors and enemy placements; the music file is intended for in-engine playback during that level.

Installation

Decompress the BinHex/StuffIt archive, then copy the level and music files alongside the main Sensory Overload application. The game's level loader picks up additional level resources placed in the same directory.

Requirements

Requires a working installation of Sensory Overload on a 68k or PowerPC Macintosh running System 7 through Mac OS 9. The pack is not a standalone game.
