NS-TOWER 2.4F is the French-language build of Akihiko Kusanagi's vertical jumping action game from NAGI-P SOFT, distributed as shareware through Info-Mac. The hook is the same as the rest of the 2.4 family: climb up the tower one platform at a time by holding the space bar or mouse button to charge a jump, then releasing it to launch.
How it plays
The bundled ReadMe describes NS-TOWER as an action game whose purpose is to climb up the tower. Holding the space bar or mouse button charges your jump; the longer you hold, the higher you go. Floors include several types - the ReadMe singles out a conveyor belt - which forces the player to think about both vertical timing and horizontal drift before each leap.
What's in 2.4
The 2.4 generation introduced smooth scrolling and background music to the basic jump mechanic. The 2.4F ReadMe specifically mentions the new SpeedUp option and that user settings are now saved between sessions. This entry is the French localisation of that 2.4 release.
Author and distribution
NS-TOWER was written by Akihiko Kusanagi at NAGI-P SOFT and released as shareware. The ReadMe explicitly grants Info-Mac permission to include it on CD-ROM and points other shareware publishers at the author for approval. Why two siblings
This 2.4F French build sits alongside a 2.4D German build (and the original Japanese / English release) as a localised sibling of NS-TOWER 2.4. All three share the same engine and the same changelog; only the user-facing language strings differ between them.
