Hearts Card Counter is a FileMaker Pro 5.0 helper file by Geffrey Klein, MD, designed for players of online Hearts who, like the author, struggle to remember which cards have already been played. It is not a Hearts game itself but a companion tracker that records played cards and tallies who has already taken points.
What It Does
As cards are played in an online Hearts session, the user marks them off in the FileMaker file. The layout keeps a running record of which suits have been exhausted and which players already hold point cards, easing the cognitive load of competitive play.
Requirements
Requires FileMaker Pro 5.0 (or compatible) to open the file. Without FileMaker installed, the document cannot be used; it is a database file rather than a standalone application.
Intended Use
Aimed at players of online Hearts services who want a structured way to track the queen of spades, the heart suit, and shooting-the-moon scenarios without relying solely on memory.
