Card Shell vol2 is the second volume in the Card Shell collection of solitaire and card games for Classic Mac OS, packaging additional variants on top of the original Card Shell shell so players can keep cycling through new deals without launching separate apps.
Card Game Collection
Bundles a set of single-player card games under one launcher, in the tradition of compilation shareware that filled a single download with several related diversions.
Shell Architecture
As the name implies, Card Shell uses a common host application that loads individual game modules, sharing card art, scoring, and window chrome across every title in the volume.
Sibling Release
Released as a follow-up to Card Shell vol1, expanding the catalog of available games rather than replacing the original. Distributed as Mac shareware for the System 7 / Mac OS 8-9 era.
