Hearts Elvis is a character add-on pack for Hearts Deluxe, the popular Classic Mac OS implementation of the trick-avoidance card game Hearts. Installing the pack replaces the three computer opponents with Elvis Presley themed personas, complete with new portraits and table chatter while the underlying card engine is unchanged.
What it does
The package drops new opponent resource files into the Hearts Deluxe Players folder. Once recognized by the host program, the Elvis-themed players appear in the opponent picker like any other personality pack.
Hearts Deluxe parent
Hearts Deluxe was a widely registered shareware Hearts game for the Classic Mac OS, designed to support pluggable AI opponent packs so the community could extend it with new characters.
Installation
Drag the included opponent files into the Players folder beside the Hearts Deluxe application, then launch Hearts Deluxe and pick the Elvis personas from the standard opponent menu.
Requires the host game
This add-on does not include Hearts Deluxe itself; players must install the parent game separately. It is distributed as a small BinHex archive of opponent resources.
