Spider is a Macintosh implementation of the classic Spider Solitaire card game, the patience variant played with two decks across ten tableau columns. The goal is to build descending sequences of the same suit and clear them from the table, with new cards dealt from the stock when no plays remain.
Gameplay
Players move cards between tableau piles to form runs from King down to Ace. Completed same-suit sequences are removed automatically, and the stock deals a fresh row across all columns when the player elects to deal.
Difficulty Levels
Spider Solitaire traditionally offers one-suit, two-suit, and four-suit variants, with the four-suit game widely regarded as one of the more demanding solitaire challenges.
Classic Mac Presentation
The Macintosh build follows the standard System-era look, using crisp black-and-white or grayscale card faces that render cleanly on Compact Mac displays.
