Chinese Poker is a Macintosh shareware card game implementing the classic Asian poker variant in which each player arranges thirteen dealt cards into three poker hands and scores them head-to-head against opponents. It is preserved here as part of the Classic Mac shareware archive.
About the Variant
In Chinese Poker, players sort thirteen cards into a five-card back hand, a five-card middle hand, and a three-card front hand. Each row must rank no higher than the row behind it, and rows are compared individually against each other player.
Mac Implementation
This release is a small, focused single-purpose card title typical of the Classic Mac shareware era, packaged for distribution through user-group disks and online archives such as Info-Mac.
