Romi is a Rummy card game for the Classic Macintosh by Gerard Brochu of Universite Laval in Quebec, letting a single player face the computer at three difficulty levels. Version 1.7.1 was distributed as shareware in English, French, and Italian editions, with this entry the third localized sibling in the Info-Mac archive.
Gameplay
Romi implements the classic Rummy card game. Players draw, meld, and discard against a computer opponent that adapts across three configurable skill levels.
Localization
The release ships in three language variants. The base distribution covers English, while companion builds (romi-171-fr.hqx and romi-171-it.hqx) provide French and Italian interfaces from the same code base.
System requirements
Runs on any Macintosh with System 6.0.4 or higher, making it accessible to a broad swath of vintage hardware from compact Macs through later 68k and PowerPC systems.
