Free Casino is a freeware Classic Mac OS casino-style card and gambling game distributed in the late 1990s and early 2000s through the Mac shareware ecosystem. As its name advertises, it bundles a handful of Las Vegas table staples — typically blackjack, video poker and slot variants — into a single small download aimed at casual players on System 7 through Mac OS 9.
Gameplay
Each table is a single-player session against a scripted dealer or paytable, with a persistent virtual bankroll the player can grow or bust. There is no progression layer, no online play and no real-money component; the appeal is the no-cost convenience of having several casino games in one Finder-launched application.
Development and release
Free Casino circulated on Mac magazine cover CDs and shareware mirrors of the period and has been preserved on Macintosh Repository and Macintosh Garden alongside other small freeware casino bundles. No commercial publisher is associated with the title; it was offered at no charge from the outset.
