Orbmazez

Orb Mazez is a split-screen two-player Macintosh maze game in the lineage of Maze Wars, presenting each player with a first-person 3-D view of the labyrinth and pitting them head-to-head on a single screen as they hunt one another through the corridors.

The display is divided so both players can share one Mac and see their own 3-D viewpoint of the maze at the same time.

Maze Wars lineage

Like the classic Maze Wars that helped define networked first-person play, Orb Mazez frames the world as blocky corridors viewed from inside the maze.

Local hot-seat duel

Without requiring a network or second machine, the game keeps the duel immediate and physical at one keyboard.
