The Oswiecim Operation Demo

The Oswiecim Operation is a fan-made scenario for Wolfenstein 3D's Third Encounter on the Mac. You travel covertly to a small concentration camp in southeast Poland where unspeakable horrors are being committed. The journey is long and cold, with frequent close calls against Hitler's soldiers and their dogs before you slip into the dark near the camp.

Setting and Story

The player rides 20 miles clinging to the underside of a rail car, drops off in the dark, and approaches the camp on foot. The mission frames the level as a covert infiltration rather than a conventional shoot-out.

New Content

The scenario ships with loads of new graphics, enemies, and objects built specifically for Wolfenstein 3D's Third Encounter engine on Mac, replacing the stock art and bestiary.

Series Context

Players who enjoyed the author's earlier Mac scenarios Adolf's Gymnasium and Sea Wolf will recognize the recurring conceit of Hitler enlisting the underworld; Oswiecim Operation pushes that storyline further with a heavier wave of enemies.
