Sea Wolf Demo is a playable demo of a third-party scenario for the Macintosh version of Wolfenstein 3D, set on the fictional North Sea island of Borkum. The player infiltrates a secret Nazi sub-pen housing a prototype nuclear U-boat and must take both the base and the submarine out of commission.
Story
From the BinHex submission note: "On the southern coast of a little isle called Borkum, located in the North Sea, is a highly secret sub-pen. This complex, home to Hitler's prototype nuclear U-boat, is heavily guarded. Your mission: take it and the submarine out of commission."
Gameplay
A scenario-style total conversion for Mac Wolfenstein 3D, advertised as featuring "never-before-seen graphics for the Macintosh" and levels built around puzzles and challenges that "could take hours to solve." Distributed as a demo rather than the full scenario.
Requirements
Requires the Macintosh version of Wolfenstein 3D as a host engine. Submitted by wizbang@ccp.com and packaged as sea-wolf-demo.hqx, a BinHex 4.0 archive in the info-mac/game/com/wolf directory of the Info-Mac mirror.
Preservation status
Mirrored from Info-Mac. The full Sea Wolf scenario is referenced in the broader Mac Wolfenstein modding community (Jon Wigand / MacenWolf archives); the file preserved here is the original demo build distributed via Info-Mac.
