Scribbles is a drawing and guessing game for the classic Macintosh by Jim DeVona, written as a project to learn the Mac Toolbox interface. Given a single reference picture, the player must identify the true match from among six closely similar copies, playable solo or head-to-head with another person.
Gameplay
Each round presents a small reference sketch alongside six lookalike candidates. The player picks the true match before the timer runs out. Most game parameters can be tuned, and players can save or import custom image sets.
Audience
The author notes the game is best suited for younger kids, functioning equally well as a casual matching exercise or a lightweight party game between two players.
System Requirements
Scribbles requires a PowerPC Macintosh and an 8-bit color display. A 68K build was not produced unless demand warranted it.
Provenance
Distributed via Info-Mac as freeware by the author, with full Readme documentation included in the archive.
