Memo (also distributed as Memo+ 1.0 by Stephane Arnaud) is a classic memory-matching card game for the Macintosh, distributed through the Info-Mac Archive. The objective is the timeless one: turn over cards two at a time and find the matching pairs until the board is cleared.
Gameplay
Players flip pairs of face-down cards searching for matching couples. Each unsuccessful turn flips the cards back, rewarding attentive memory and quick recall as the grid is gradually cleared.
Author and Distribution
Memo+ was authored by Stephane Arnaud (sarnaud@cybercable.fr) and distributed as a BinHex-encoded Disk Copy image (Memo+_1.0.img.hqx) through the Info-Mac Archive game collection.
Heritage
The memory-matching genre is among the oldest computer card games, and small French shareware contributions like this one helped fill out the Mac's deep catalog of casual diversions throughout the 1990s.
