Bert is a 1994 Q*bert clone by Swedish developer Ingemar Ragnemalm that swaps the arcade original's orange protagonist for a caricature of Swedish politician Bert Karlsson, hopping around an isometric pyramid of cubes and changing their colors while dodging adversaries.
Gameplay
Classic Q*bert mechanics: jump diagonally from cube to cube on a pyramid, flip every tile to the target color to clear the stage, and avoid enemies that chase you across the same grid.
Satirical Theme
The author recasts the cast with Swedish political figures, including Bert Karlsson and Social Democrat figure Ingvar Karlsson, with a tongue-in-cheek note comparing Bert to Dan Quayle for non-Swedish players.

Written by Ingemar Ragnemalm, a prolific Mac shareware game author. Runs on System 6.x through Mac OS 9 and ships as a fat binary for both 68k and PowerPC Macs.
